Acchakana Futako-Tamagawa is a cozy curry spot with a splash of European charm — the perfect place if you're looking for a laid-back meal in Tokyo. Tucked inside the Tamagawa Takashimaya Shopping Center, it feels like you’ve stumbled into a stylish little café somewhere in Western Europe — but you're still very much in Tokyo.

Acchakana Futako-Tamagawa: Chill Ambiance and Terrace Vibes
Acchakana is just a three-minute walk from Futako-Tamagawa Station (Tokyu Den-en-toshi and Tokyu Oimachi Lines), making it super easy to reach.Inside, it's small but welcoming, with just seven counter seats — perfect if you're dining solo or just want to enjoy some quiet time.

Outside is where the real magic happens though: a courtyard with 28 terrace seats, surrounded by greenery and a relaxed, open-air vibe. It almost tricks you into thinking you're somewhere in France or Italy, not right by a busy Tokyo station.

Another bonus — Acchakana is pet-friendly! There are special terrace spots where you and your dog can chill together over lunch.
What’s Good on the Menu?
Acchakana keeps things simple but seriously tasty, serving up Japanese-style curries that have won over plenty of fans.

Here are a few standouts:
Beef Katsu Curry: Thick and rich, with crispy beef katsu on top. A classic, but leveled up.
Keema Curry: The crowd favorite — a thick, meaty minced meat curry that balances savory, sweet, and just a touch of heat.
Aafee (Vegetable) Curry: Lighter but still packed with flavor. Full of veggies, and a little creaminess in the curry to keep things smooth and mellow.

If it’s your first time, the Keema is probably the way to go. It's thick, flavorful, and totally hits the spot. The Beef Katsu is a beast in its own right, especially if you’re after something richer. And the Aafee — don't let the “healthier” tag fool you. It’s veggie-forward without being boring, thanks to that subtle creamy touch.

At lunch, every curry set comes with a simple side salad and a little coffee jelly espresso drink to end things on a sweet, slightly bitter note.(Seriously, that mini espresso drink is a nice touch — it's almost like a reward after your curry.)

Whether you're craving a heavy-hitting beef katsu or something a little lighter, Acchakana is a great little escape in Futako-Tamagawa. Grab a terrace seat, soak up the café vibes, and dig into a bowl of curry that’ll leave you smiling.
