Food Tours Tokyo was founded by Frank, a Tokyo native who has spent years exploring the city’s food scene, one dish at a time.

What began as a personal obsession with ramen grew into a way to share Tokyo’s food culture in a more direct and approachable way through food tours, guidebooks, blogs, social media, and more.

Today, that same mindset carries through the wider team. Our guides bring their own personalities to each tour, along with local knowledge, a welcoming style, and a shared focus on making every experience feel easy, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable.

Food Tours Tokyo is part of Finom Inc., a Tokyo-based travel company focused on creating memorable food experiences across Japan. As a registered travel agency with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (License No. 3-8475), we are also able to support travelers beyond individual tours.
